We are a team of teachers that live here in Atlanta and in Latin America
that focus on providing our students with engaging and interactive Spanish classes, while also curating experiences for them to be exposed to the Spanish language in unique and authentic ways.
Our events and classes are designed to give the learner the full attention of the teacher so they are able to apply and actively practice what they are learning in their classes and in real life interactions.

Our mission is to help our students achieve a B2 (advanced-low/mid) fluency level in the Spanish language via engaging immersion experiences digitally, locally (Atlanta) and abroad (in Hispanic countries) while investing in the future of Atlanta’s young language learners.

School’s Story
2014 – Not Feeling Fluent After Majoring in Spanish
Bijan the founder of ASI was frustrated that he had not achieved fluency after graduating with a degree in Spanish.
2016-2017
Full Immersion in Argentina
ASÍ was created from the direct life experience of what founder Bijan Golshani discovered in his journey to reach a C1 (Advanced-High) level fluency level in the Spanish Language while living and working in Argentina.
2018 – present
He did see how he made the most improvement in his Spanish when he received informal and formal 1-on-1 instruction from native speakers that were friends and private Spanish teachers. This approach of exposing himself to different situation of being around native Spanish speakers and receiving formal and informal instruction and opportunities to practice 1-on-1 with natives is what catapulted him to make significant progress.
2019 – present
We have been serving the metro-Atlanta community over the past 5 years since December 2019. We try to provide all of our students with a holistic approach with may different opportunties for them to improve their Spanish!
Founder & Director, Atlanta Spanish Immersion
Bijan Golshani
Bijan Golshani is the Founder and Director of Atlanta Spanish Immersion, an organization dedicated to helping students achieve B2-level fluency in Spanish through engaging classes, local language exchanges, and immersive trips abroad. He is passionate about connecting cultures and creating opportunities for students to use Spanish confidently in real-world settings.
Bijan’s passion for Spanish and Latin American culture began during his study abroad semester in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he lived for three months in 2014. Inspired by the experience, he later returned to Argentina from 2016 to 2017 to live and work, deepening his understanding of the language and culture.
After returning to Atlanta, Bijan began teaching Spanish at Lakeside High School in DeKalb County, where he witnessed firsthand the challenges students face in developing real-world fluency. From these experiences—both abroad and in the classroom—he realized how vital immersion-based learning is for true language mastery. His mission became clear: to create experiences that allow students to apply grammar and theory through authentic communication, transforming what they learn into real conversational ability.
Bijan has since led immersion trips to Ecuador, Mexico, Spain, Costa Rica, and Argentina for both adults and teenagers, helping students bridge the gap between study and lived experience.
Our Teaching Methodology
At Atlanta Spanish Immersion, we use a blended teaching approach that combines both deductive instruction—where grammar is clearly explained—and inductive strategies that guide students to recognize patterns and rules through real-life examples. This balanced method allows us to adapt to each student’s learning style and create an engaging, personalized learning experience.
Because our classes are 1-on-1, each student spends 70–100% of their time speaking and actively listening in Spanish. This ensures maximum language exposure and helps build real-world communication skills with confidence and fluency.
